Who we are

This website is run by Momo Nest ("we", "us"), which serves handmade momo from restaurants in Coventry, Rugby and Nuneaton. Momo Nest is made up of the following companies:

  • Momo Nest Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 15578553). Registered address: Unit 5 Ropewalk Shopping Centre, Chapel Street, Nuneaton, England, CV11 5TZ.
  • Momo Nest Holdings Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 17527406). Registered address: Unit 5 Chapel Street, Nuneaton, England, CV11 5TZ.

We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

For anything about this policy or your data, email us at [email protected].

What we collect

You can browse this website without telling us who you are. We collect personal information only when you send it to us:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message.
  • Franchise enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, town or city, and anything you tell us about yourself.
  • Emails and calls: whatever you choose to share when you contact us or one of our restaurants directly.

When you submit a form, our server also briefly uses your IP address to limit repeat submissions and block spam.

Orders placed through Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo are handled by those platforms, under their own privacy policies.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message or enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you've asked us something and we want to answer.
  • To discuss franchise opportunities you've registered interest in. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and legitimate interests.
  • To keep the website secure and protect it from spam and abuse (legitimate interests).

We don't use your details for marketing unless you've asked us to, and we never sell them.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run this website:

  • Our website host, which stores form submissions on our behalf.
  • PXA Mail, our email delivery service, which sends form submissions to our team.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which may check form submissions to tell people apart from spam bots.
  • Google Maps, which shows the map on each restaurant page and receives your IP address when the map loads.
  • Adobe Fonts, which serves the typefaces on this website and receives your IP address when a page loads.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision. We may also disclose information if the law requires us to.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites. Google Maps and Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies or similar technologies that they need to work and to prevent abuse. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the map may not load if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for up to 12 months after we've finished dealing with them, and franchise enquiries for up to 24 months, unless they lead to an ongoing business relationship. After that, we delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
  • ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
